The idea of alt texts is to function as written descriptions for images, used in addition to the images or in case the image can't be seen. Alt texts can be set for existing images either in Stages, Questions and Answer Options. It is possiibe to set and edit alt text in the Concept Board or in the Languages view, where they can be translated as well. They can be set for both decoration and explanation images.

In this modal window, shown below, the alt text for the image can be entered in the text input field. The image the alt text is for is displayed above the text input field. The alt text is only stored when confirmed.

Once Once an image has been uploaded in the Concept Board, an option will appear in the Languages view to set or edit the alt text for that image. Here they can also be translated and stored for differnt languagesdifferent languages. If an image does not existsexist, no alt text can be set or edited eitherand no input field is displayed.
